What is Microneedling, anyway?

What does the downtime look like?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment, and the downtime is very manageable. Most clients can return to work within 24 hours, as the redness subsides significantly by the next day.

Day 1, expect some redness, warmth, and tightness—similar to a mild sunburn. This is your skin actively responding and beginning the healing process.

Around days 3–5, you may notice a dry, slightly rough or “sandpaper” texture. This is completely normal. Think of it like when your body heals any injury—it creates a protective barrier while new, healthy skin is forming underneath. This is your skin renewing itself.

By day 7, you’ll start to see the payoff—skin that looks more lifted, plump, hydrated, and overall more refined.
